Oats Khichdi

Core Ingredients:

• Steel cut oats - 1/2 cup

• Walnuts - 1/2 cup

• Peanuts - 1/4 cup

• Hemp hearts - 1/4 cup

• Chia seeds - 3 tbsp

• 1 (chopped) Brazil nut

• Ground flax seed - 2 tbsp

• Nutritional Yeast (fortified) - 2tbsp

• Dried parsley flakes - 1 - 1.5 tbsp

• Dried kale flakes - 1/2 - 1 tbsp

• Kelp (kombu) flakes - 1/4 tsp

After it's cooled add:

• Amla powder - 1tsp

• Mustard powder - 1/8 tsp

Up next to try:

wheat germ (raw better than toasted) - 2 tbsp

Sunflower lecithin powder - 1 tbsp

Spices (anti-inflammatory):

• salt to taste - 1/4tsp

• Cinnamon (ceylon, not cassia) - 1 tsp

• Tumeric 1/2 tsp

• black pepper - 1/2tsp

• Ginger - 1/2 tsp

Plus, purely for flavour preference - 1/2tsp each of garam masala, cumin, and coriander, plus 1/2tbsp kathuri methi (dried Fenugreek leaves).
